Welcome to the First Steps Dance Classes
We have a range of dance classes, covering a selection of styles, for ages 2½ to 18yrs old. Ballet, Musical Theatre, Street Dance/jazz, Drama Club, Contemporary, Acro, PBT and Tap are all available weekly. A video library is also available for you to dance at home. We also have Trial Classes if you would like to try a class out first before committing to a full term. Details can be found below.

Ballet
Musical Theatre Saturdays and Drama Club -
frIn Musical Theatre class we work on our singing, dancing and acting skills each term with a different musical. Choosing 4-6 songs, we tell the story with a mini-script where each student has a chance to take on at least one (often multiple) roles every Saturday.
Drama classes on fridays for 6-11yrs working on voice, confidence and team building Skills.
Tap Dance
Pointe class
(post grade 4 only)
We have numerous classes a week for grade 5/6/7/8. We achieve 100% pass rate in these grades. The girls also have the option of adding 30 minute pointe class each week which is a free syllabus training the feet and learning excerpts from classical ballets. girls must be aged over 11yrs for the pointe class.
Street Jazz and Modern
Trial Classes at First Steps
We offer Trial Classes for all of our dance classes. Trial sessions are £10 by appointment (no drop ins allowed). Registration is a £15 one-off payment once registered with the school. Please complete the form below if you would like to try one of our Trial Classes.
